eBinder for ARM


Overview

High-performance, low-power ARM cores are widely used in digital consumer devices such as mobile phones, digital cameras, and PDAs.
As a result of competition, these digital consumer devices require a number of sophisticated features for added value, a reduction in time to market with shortened product cycles, cost reduction for price competency, and so on. eBinder facilitates quick and low-cost product development under such strict conditions.


Includes ARM's genuine compiler

eBinder for ARM comes with ARM's genuine compiler (including C++) and thread-safe C/C++ library.


Linking with JTAG ICE

A small digital consumer device may not have a free port for debugging due to physical restrictions in the hardware. It may be necessary to debug a program on flash memory. In these cases, use a JTAG ICE with eBinder.

Development with no target

eB-SIM, a simulation environment for eBinder, provides a target development environment on a host computer. This is best for starting software development when hardware is not yet complete or when minimizing the number of JTAG ICEs or evaluation boards.
