eSOL Teams Up With Visualtek To Bring Complete Multimedia Solutions for DSP-based Digital Media Processor from Texas Instruments

TOKYO, July 21, 2003 -- eSOL Co.,Ltd., a leading provider of embedded software and services, today announced that a distribution agreement has been completed with VISUALTEK of South Korea, a leading digital audio and video codec developer for a growing number of multimedia applications.

Under the agreement, VISUALTEK will integrate eSOL's software including their real-time operating system with various multimedia middleware and applications developed by VISUALTEK, and offer complete turnkey solutions in the Korean market. The solution is aimed at the TMS320DM270, an industry leading, high-performance low-cost digital media processor from Texas Instruments, for various multimedia devices such as digital cameras, web-based surveillance cameras and digital media players.
